Objective: To observe the effect of montmorillonite powder and Vitamin C, auxiliary in treating pediatric handfoot-and-mouth disease(HFMD).
Methods: 120 cases HFMD patients were randomly divided into treatment group 60 cases and control group 60 cases, the treatment group were given montmorillonite powder and Vitamin C, the control group were given Xilei San. The course of treatment were both 7 days. Observed the ulcer number, area, local color, pain and the influence of eating.
Results: The remarkable curative effect of the treatment group was obviously higher than that of the control group(P0.01).120 cases had no side effects.
Conclusion: The effect of montmorillonite
powder and Vitamin C was better than Xilei San.
